I will always love Paris.

Remembering all those padlocks that had to be removed, together with all their special messages of love ........
I know that I am not the only person looking back at magical memories made in Paris. How can it be that these beautiful images that we treasure are so delicate now..... we know that (perhaps)  we will not have the opportunity to experience them again?
Always calm and tranquil at the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens.

Will life return to normal in Paris, will tourists ever feel safe again?
The festive season is around the corner, usually a special time to visit the City of Light......what will happen this Christmas? Where will the sparkle and festive celebrations be?
Will the hospitality industry survive with many tourists cancelling their bookings?
So,so many questions for France and all of Europe right now.

Always fascinating, passages in Paris, pop up where you least expect to find them.
As I sit here now, I have no less than three recipe books on French cooking and bistro fare ....... I am always searching for inspiration and new foodie experiences.
To experience French Cuisine at its best, one should be able to visit France.........
As mentioned by Nancy Mitford, "The day one sets  foot in France, you can take it from me, pure happiness begins......"
Always best enjoyed at a Bistro in Paris...... French Onion Soup. Every cook should have a recipe for French Onion Soup in their repertoire. Rich and earthy, it reaches new heights with a golden cheese crust.
Delightful and decadent treats for those with a sweet tooth..... no Banting when in Paris!
May sweet memories linger on as we ask for peace in Paris.

Be well, stay well and go well until my next post. Keep those beautiful memories close to your heart as we ask for peace around the world.
